Makeup Blender Puff — 4 Piece Set

Four teardrop makeup sponges in an organza drawstring pouch — blush pink, cream, lilac and rose. Latex-free, and they swell when damp so one sponge covers the whole face.

Two ends, two jobs

• Rounded base — foundation and cream blush over cheeks and forehead
• Pointed tip — under the eyes, around the nose and the corners of the mouth
• Flat edge — pressing powder into the under-eye and along the jaw

Use it damp

Run the sponge under water, squeeze it out in a towel until it is barely moist, then bounce — do not drag. A dry sponge drinks your foundation; a damp one puts it on your skin instead. Bouncing rather than wiping is what gives the finish that looks like skin instead of makeup.

Keeping them clean

Wash after every two or three uses with soap and warm water until the water runs clear, then air-dry standing up rather than flat. Sponges hold moisture and product, and a damp one left in a drawer is where bacteria grow. Replace every three months.
